Fun Disco
Man do I get a buzz when I am in control of a dance floor, I played a club In Surin Thailand last week and even though 60% of the crowd were actually Thai, I still had
them jumping. For me there is no feeling like it, I was playing a mixture of house and trance with the odd Thai tune mixed in and the reaction I got was amazing, even though the Thai’s are a bit behind with their music, they still loved it just as much as I did. I have just secured a regular spot in Fun Disco which is located in what we Farrangs (westerners) call Entertainment Street and they do not call it that for nothing! Most of the clubs down there close around 6am unless they get a visit from the local constabulary and close it down early, which can be quite a laugh.
I have played many clubs all over the world, but have never seen so many smiling faces without any kind of attitude, I love playing in Thailand and would recommend a visit. They have some of the best nightlife around and now I am playing on a regular basis, it is even better. It is a different world here and I really wish I had come a lot sooner, the Thai’s really do know how to enjoy themselves and that makes my job a whole lot easier, the only problem I have is getting my hands on music.
